In the Beginning, God Wore a Hockey Mask

Jack got a lovely lesson at CCD Religious Ed this week about how St. Patrick used the shamrock to explain the holy trinity.

Somehow, I am pretty sure Jack came up with the hockey masks on his own during this class assignment:

Of course I blame Jack's father for instilling this single-minded hockey obsession. Sports and religion are pretty interchangeable around here.

Ask a Cubs' fan about faith.   He'll tell you.

  1. I live less than a mile from the Church of Wrigley. Can't wait for the mecca that is baseball season to kick off!

  2. What? They don't call it CCD anymore? And I suppose next we'll let girls choose "Tiffany" for a confirmation name?
And a Cubs fan is followed close behind by a Cleveland Indians fan. Or Buffalo Bills.

  3. It's interesting the the Son and the Holy Spirit play hockey but the Father looks on in envy...:)
