I love these stories, keep em in the memory bank for the future, great to remember what they were like when they are little. My kids love to hear stories about what they did when they were younger! Sadly, I have a hard time recollecting specific ones sometimes!! Now I try to at least write them down.
Your post in Chicago's Parent, made me both weep and smile. I just thank the heavens for moments like these, where our kids can still bring a smile to our lips and laughter to our hearts. :)

ReplyDeleteAnnika says that she wants a talking zebra from her boyfriend. Do you have one of those in a closet at your house?

How could Gretchen ever turn down a guy with a necktie. If this was any cuter I might have melted!
ReplyDeleteJoey. I will say he is one of a kind.
ReplyDeleteWhat a precious kid and appreciative mom! Love all the sentiments in your Chicago Parent article and how you weave life's craziness into your column.

Noah likes to wear a clip-on tie to church, though it doesn't last much longer than 30 minutes.
