The Time I Was a Bad Mother (Part 42)

It took a visit with family in Texas to help me come to grips with one of my first big parenting failures.

When it came to meeting my baby's needs, I had definitely dropped the ball.

Actually, I didn't even have a ball to drop.

Full story click HERE in today's Chicago Parent.

Ultimately, I did make up for lost time.

  1. Too funny Marianne. I remember my mom saying for kids and toys to make sure they had a ball, now of course I can't remember what else she said and we are way past the toys until the grands come along (and we hope that won't be for many a year, LOL :)

    1. Ha! I swear, a ball is all a kid really needs. Your mom was very smart!

  2. Laughing laughing laughing! Sock Monkey.

Turns out, I like saying it too!!

  3. Before I head over, I must call into question your organized ball display so close to the french doors? I see what kind of ledge you live on Walshie!
