Ever wonder about the twists and turns of your child's double helix? We weren't exactly sure where Joey got his DNA, but this week, it all started making sense.
This made me all sorts of warm and fuzzy inside. My Leo is such an amalgamation of several generations of our families. It's such a beautiful thing. Occasionally off-putting, but mostly beautiful :)
Oh I love love love love this post! (in case you couldn't guess, I love this post) Joey sounds like an amazing kid and I kinda wished that I had his spirit and his sense of adventure.
Thanks, Lily! He does make me laugh all day, every day. I had a shot this week and Joey ordered the doctor to immediately put the bandage on "before all my air came out." Joey apparently believes I'm a balloon. Not that I don't look like one....
Something happened weird when I left my last comment, so I'm not sure it took or not. I can't remember what I so brillantly said, LOL, but something to the fact that I enjoyed reading this about the uniqueness of your kids as they resemble other relatives. You have an interesting array of characters in your kids, I'm sure there is never a dull moment :)
if the other comment "took" pick which one you want to display :)

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked it, Jen! Joey is giving me whole new insight into my dad - it's been enlightening to say the least! Leo rocks.
DeleteJoey sounds AWESOME!! Ahh, if we could all be happy just half as much :)
ReplyDeleteHow about it! I wish I could bottle him!
DeleteWoof indeed! Sounds like you have a fab 5!
ReplyDeleteI do indeed!
DeleteWish Joey were older and I would be in love with him. But then, I am happily married to a happy man who wouldn't be happy if I was stuck on Joey.
ReplyDeletePerhaps your husband would understand? Joey is a charmer, maybe he could convince your husband it is all for the best? (;
DeleteActually I do have a little guy at our church about Joey's age that is stuck on me and it doesn't bother hubby.
