The Mighty Sand Gnats

Based on the evidence below, who do you suppose mixed up Joey's T-ball game with Danny's baseball game?

If he was allowed to swear, you know he's thinking, "This is such bullsh*t."
This is Joey "playing" left field.  I stole Danny's hat so he at least sorta looked like a baseball player.

I did figure things out by Game #2.
My son invited every single base runner to our house for a playdate. We might have to move.

  1. Solutions here. Some work and some don't, but it might get you off the hook. Tell your son's team that they can come to the playdate by Skype.

An eighth grade girl in Florida told me she had a date with her Maine boyfriend on computer Skype. They both talked and ate take out Chinese together on their computer "date". I means she was serious that this was a real date.

  3. I loved T-Ball. My daughter was the only girl on the supposed co-ed team.Of course I bought her pink cleats, to distinguish her. There is just something so pure, innocent, fun, happy and heartwarming about all those dandelion pickers. (now the second base Nose-Pickers I could have done without, but hey!)
Loved this post, and love reading about other forgetful moms.We deserve our own special rewards because even when forgetting schedules,we still pull through;)

  5. Isn't T-ball fun? I am always so grateful when extended family members (aunts and uncles and uncles girlfriends) show up and are engaged in the game. It can be so hard to watch at this age. And I'm the mom of a player!

  6. Aw, tee ball is the cutest! In this case, I can't blame your son for being ticked. On the other hand, mixing up the schedules would be completely something I would do, so I can't blame you a bit! That's the hard part of having kids signed up in sports, keeping all that craziness straight. Not that I have my own kids, but I did it as a nanny and it was confusing. I felt like we never had time to just play!

  7. Our high school team is called "the colts" which I think is ridiculous...who is afraid of a baby horse? Come on! Sand Gnats are way scarier.
