One Chicago mom's attempt to keep an accurate log so her kids will have something helpful to show the therapists.
Hey Marianne, Great post! Now I don't feel so bad for telling The Husband what I REALLY want to do for Mother's Day.......... (hint: it involves popcorn). xxoMOV
Thanks and save some for me!!
I wonder what my mother would do... I think I'll ask her.
Hee hee. Smart girl.
Why are Joe's pants pulled up to his belly button?
Shhhh...you're gonna get me in twuble....
Happy Mother's Day to MOV and Marianne, two really fun mothers and authors of Epic Mom.
They are almost as cool as a super-star rapper I know....
Awwwww...don't your girls miss having a nice place to rest!?
That took me a minute (what girls?). And YES.
Mother's Day as a break from being mom sounds a bit like bliss. Such a great idea!
I am so s-m-r-t.
Loved your article, Marianne! I have been asking for the gift of time alone for years, and I can attest that it is the gift that keeps on giving. Happy Mother's Day!
Thank you and right back at ya!!
You look adorable in this photo...I would have NEVER guessed you were carrying an 11 lb., 24" baby in there. Amazing! I would have loved to have seen the jello slinging fight. haha...or at least know the reason behind it. :)
Oh, it wasn't pretty. And it kinda looked like my stomach post-op. Hope you have a GREAT Mother's Day!!
I totally agree! Each year I try to spend as little time with my children on Mother's Day as possible. It makes me love them more :)
